The commercial team is an essential department within Designer Group and forms part of the foundation of every project and responsible for the overall contracts, costs and change management with our clients. 

Overview of the Graduate Programme 

The Graduate Programme will last a total of 18 months. Initially, the Graduate will gain an all-round skill set by obtaining insight within various departments in order develop their understanding of the M&E industry before being allocated to one of our projects. These Departments include: Pre-construction, Procurement, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) as well as working ‘On the Tools’ and shadowing our Project Managers and Engineers.

Key Criteria to Join the Scheme

  • A degree classification (minimum 2:1 or above within the last 2 years) within Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management
  • Your enthusiasm for problem-solving and using your initiative
  • Able to work collaboratively and safely with others
  • You are a go-getter and value continuous improvement
