Key Responsibilities 

  • To control all numbers of suppliers
  • To receive the days delivery schedule – both electrical and mechanical
  • Ensure all materials are checked off a PO prior as delivery comes in
  • Ensure any incorrect items are returned and back orders are highlighted and delivered at a later date
  • Be visible to the Designer Group site team to advise on storage areas and allocation of materials
  • Ensure all storage areas are tidy, barriered off and well signed
  • Ensure all delivery dockets are brought back to the Designer Group site office at the end of the day and signed off
  • Keep the keys and codes to all storage areas secure
  • Keep a daily diary along with a folder for all records
  • Keep track of all excessive materials (counting, preparing for collection and returning to suppliers) with assistance from a Designer Group Supervisor
  • Control all pallets on site
  • Assist with all deliveries to the Designer Group team
