Women in Construction Ireland (WICI)

STEM Passport for Inclusion

Designer Group is a proud supporter of the STEM Passport for Inclusion, an award-winning programme led by Maynooth University that addresses inequalities. Through funding, volunteering, and hosting opportunities, we help provide:

  • Accredited STEM education pathways for girls in DEIS schools.
  • Industry mentorship from Designer Group employees.
  • Exposure to engineering, data, and technology careers.
  • Work experience and hands-on learning opportunities.

This programme supports 500 girls from disadvantaged communities, helping them build confidence, develop skills, and expand their academic and career aspirations, strengthening the future STEM talent pipeline across Ireland in access to STEM education.

Inclusion: Data-Driven Inclusion

To better understand our people and strengthen inclusion, Designer Group partners with Inclusion, an evidence-based digital platform developed at Dublin City University. This enables us to:

  • Capture anonymised insights into employee experience and sentiment.
  • Establish a clear baseline for EDI progress.
  • Identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Make informed decisions that reflect what our people value.
