STO 01A involved the full fit-out of two 3 MW data halls within a live, fully operational data centre, including electrical, mechanical, structural, and architectural services. Designer Group delivered critical plant and infrastructure installations while ensuring zero disruption to ongoing operations.

The scope included civil, structural, and architectural works, as well as comprehensive mechanical and electrical installations. Designer Group managed the design, installation, and commissioning of Owner-Furnished, Contractor-Installed (OFCI) equipment, while also delivering end-user rack installation and hot aisle containment systems. Stage 4 and 5 design development ensured that all systems were fully coordinated, integrated, and optimized for operational efficiency and reliability.

A key focus of the project was the seamless integration of new infrastructure with existing live and critical services. By combining meticulous planning, staged installation, and rigorous testing and commissioning, Designer Group successfully delivered a high-performance data hall environment capable of supporting demanding enterprise workloads.
