Designer Group successfully replaced the sprinkler system in a fully operational data centre with zero downtime or disruption. The works involved safely removing the legacy system, installing and commissioning the new sprinkler infrastructure, and erecting scaffolding above the live data hall, all carried out under strict safety protocols.

Designer Group managed the N₂ generator system, performing corrosion testing, proposing upgrades, and installing a nitrogen generator compressor to ensure continuous operational safety and compliance.

The project demonstrates Designer Group’s expertise in delivering complex retrofits in live, high-security environments while maintaining uninterrupted operations. Through meticulous planning, rigorous safety measures, and coordinated installation, the team ensured a seamless transition to the new sprinkler system, enhancing fire protection and operational reliability for the data centre.
