Designer Group are working on a high-profile Data Centre, located in Oslo, Norway. The plot size is 67,000m2, and we are providing the full Electrical & Mechanical Design & Build – a project worth €16 million.
Our client is a global data provider that adhere to strict standards of sustainability. This project is the first of 6 phases of a 36MW mission critical data centre facility, all powered by 100% renewable energy. It has been designed for maximum efficiency and to lower its Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE), by incorporating a snow-melt cooling installation.
Designer Group worked collaboratively with our client throughout the process and we also committed fully to working in Oslo, by not only setting up a business in Norway, but investing in significant research to provide a planned service for all our staff and operatives with use of accommodation, camps and shuttle buses.
We also deployed a Director for the final 4 weeks on site for RFS and an Aftercare Manager for a seamless handover. We are now delighted to be working on the PCSA works for phase 2.
