I have worked in five different countries including my homeland, The Philippines, and in many companies dealing with multinational cultures for over 17 years. Ireland is one of the best. The people are beautiful and welcoming, and Designer Group (DG) exudes positivity from its workforce. DG has a good working environment in many aspects including a professional way of dealing with one another as well as encouraging and supporting staff’s professional and technical development. Everyone is well taken care of and, when things don’t go to plan, DG has a culture of being positive and coping. Good practice is also evident in the moulding of young talents being mentored by more experienced professionals. In general, the company is all about the continuous improvement of its workforce, processes and company culture.

I joined Designer Group in February 2018 and immediately felt like I was part of a family. I love my job and as my friends keep saying, I really fell on my feet when I started here. This is my first role in the construction industry and while everyone works extremely hard, we also have lots of fun. Working abroad is my main aim to gain experience in the construction industry which is helping and continue to improve my personal characteristics by meeting people from various backgrounds.
