An iconic Art Deco 1930s Grade II listed building has a marble staircase and art deco foyer. Upgrade works were required to core services throughout.

Designer Group installed all the mechanical and electrical services required despite the difficulties because of the age of the building.

There were some significant challenges within this project due to the age of the building. These included floor to floor ceilings with narrow ceiling voids and an allowance for asbestos removal.

Our team completed enabling works consisting of the main strip out  across an area totalling 17,040m². ​

The next phase involved upgrades, an extension of WC areas and the associated works to core services and risers, refurbishment of lift and stair lobbies and fit out of office space to CAT A standards.
