It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our chairman Hank Fogarty earlier this month. Hank, a Chartered Engineer, led an esteemed career spanning over forty years, playing leadership roles across the Irish construction industry. During that time, he made a huge contribution to the sector, spending thirty-eight years with the SIAC Group, twenty years at Trinity College Dublin lecturing for their prestigious Construction Law and Contract Administration postgraduate course, and held vital roles on committees within the Construction Industry Federation, serving as President of the CIF from 2007-2008.

Hank was well recognised for his contractual knowledge and practical experience and very well regarded in the construction law and dispute resolution fields, successfully acting as a conciliator, mediator, and an arbitrator throughout his career. He was a wonderful chairman, advisor and committed supporter of Designer Group for many years, for which we are hugely grateful. Hank will be sorely missed by all at Designer Group. We extend our greatest condolences to his family and friends at this time.
