Designer Group have successfully completed the full mechanical and electrical services on a 6MW data centre project in Norway, which achieved ‘ready for service’ last week.

We worked closely in collaboration with our client DigiPlex, to ensure a smooth and seamless delivery of the project. The project adopted modular design principles including prefabricated pods and high-efficiency cooling systems, which are uniquely suited to the Nordic climate.

The energy efficient design yields cost savings of up to 25% beyond the industry average and is powered with 100% renewable energy.

Congratulations to our dedicated and committed project team, who remained in Norway throughout the 6-month programme to successfully deliver this state-of-the-art facility, despite the challenges imposed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
