Wishing you all a very merry Christmas and a brighter New Year, from everyone at DG!

We can all say that 2020 has been an unexpected year, especially when we thought everything would go back to normal by Christmas. During this unexpected time, we wanted to make sure all our employees were in the festive spirit. We know how important work life balance is for all our people and we loved celebrating the Christmas period with our talented team.

We gave our employees the task of jazzing up the office ready for a fun, (socially distanced), festive season at Designer Group. Each team got given a small Christmas tree that would sit on their table in the office or on site. The aim was to get as creative as possible and the best team won a month’s free subscription to Headspace.

On the 11^th December, in aid of Focus Ireland, our Irish team took part in this year’s Christmas Jumper Day, while the UK team celebrated Christmas Jumper Day on 18th December, raising funds for the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity. We all wore our most festive jumpers (or getting creative with tinsel in our hair!)

In September 2020 there were over 8,650 people experiencing homelessness in Ireland! Any donations, big or small, will help us to support the vital services which aim to end homelessness.

As we near the Christmas and New Year’s break Designer Group sends a huge thank you to all its clients, colleagues, suppliers and friends! We look forward to working with you all again next year and, together, seeing what success 2021 will bring.
